Some of Anita's Pottery and Dogwood Gallery Vases
As the warm weather and all this rain in the Sandhills makes everything turn green and many plants start to bloom, it's funny how your mind seems to wander to other things. One of the thoughts that came to mind as we see many dogwoods blooming everywhere, is the incredibly unique pottery vases and pots from Anita's Pottery and Dogwood Gallery.
They've got some pieces with flowering dogwoods on the face that are truly beautiful. Anita's Pottery has been in business since 1987, and they have been in their current location on the Randolph/Moore County line for 19 years. They are just beyond Union Grove Baptist Church, right beside the BP station. If you have family in Randolph County like I do, then you probably know where that is. If you don't check out their website, and when you get up that way stop in and visit.
