Seven Lakes Country Club Golf
Seven Lakes Country Club golf course, designed by Peter Tufts III in 1976, presents a
true Sandhills experience and has been awarded a FOUR STAR rating by Golf
Digest. Perennially classified as one of the finest courses in the Created in the tradition of Scottish architects of the early 1900's, the contoured fairways wind through longleaf pines and are bordered in a landscape of azaleas, magnolias and dogwoods.
This scenic course, being in the Seven Lakes Community, has many water hazards that come into play, and mature pine trees lining its fairways. The undulating greens are fast and well-bunkered. The signature hole is an uphill par 4 with a slight dogleg left fairway and a well-protected green and fairway. Tufts cleverly adapted the creeks and lakes with the pine-lined fairways, and water comes into play on nine of the eighteen holes.
