Fantastic breakfast anytime including good milk gravy, biscuits the size of small frisbees, and a great diner style menu that will suit just about anybody. Country ham, eggs over easy, great omelettes, pancakes, whatever you're craving you can get it here.

Very reasonable prices and true country style breakfast. This family owned restaurant is a cornerstone in the Sandhills and even if you have to wait for a table, it's well worth it.

Very small dining area, but it's still a relatively little known secret. Great homestyle pancakes and home cooked breakfast.

Pinehurst Cafe McCaskill Road & Rattlesnake Trl. (910) 295-3292 Map It Linda's place is another staple in Pinehurst. Eggs, bacon, ham, gravy, biscuits, etc. Breakfast and Lunch served every day with sandwiches or plates. Specials every week.

Old South Diner Cam Square/Old US Hwy 1 (910) 246-2728 Map It Just on the edges of downtown Southern Pines, they have great hash browns and handmade sausage patties. Relatively new to the Sandhills breakfast scene it's popularity is growing quickly.

Broad Street Bakery & Cafe 130 SW Broad St. (910) 692-3902 Map It The baking starts around 4:30 am or so everyday, so you can imagine what it tastes like. Breads, cakes, pies, pastries. They now supply some of the finest restaurants in the area. Great lunch too.

Granny's Donuts 201 Johnson St. (910) 944-9401 Map It If you're just looking for a great doughnut and good coffee, this is the place. Drive thru or come in and sit down. Baked fresh everyday and Very reasonable.

Mama's Kitchen Union Church Rd./Main St.-Vass (910) 245-7178 Map It This small town diner has been here for many years, and it sits at the main crossroads in Vass. Typical diner fare for breakfast and lunch.

Kenny's Country Restaurant Hwy 1 South Pinebluff (910) 281-4029 Map It Bring your appetite and pace yourself here. The portions are monstrous and the food is good. You may have to take some with you. Open for lunch as well. The chef's salad has about 2 lbs. of meat on it if that tells you anything.
