Sandhills Bed and Breakfasts
Sandhills Bed and Breakfasts offer you an inviting place to stay and relive
history from the good old days, while embarking on a great adventure in
Pinehurst and the Sandhills area. Relax by the fire, kick back on the porch, or
explore the grounds and you'll soon be surprised at how quickly life's
"busy-ness" fades away. Gearing up for another 18 holes, launching your quest
for the right antique or collectible, or just getting away from the hum drum of
everyday life, these Sandhills Bed and Breakfasts will recharge you and prepare you for the day's events.
The Old Buggy Inn Built in 1880 by W T Jones,
president of the
Tyson
and Jones Buggy Factory, The Old Buggy Inn is a grand Victorian with an ambience
of yesteryear. The grounds and porches are just as grand as the interior, and
the owners will take care of your every need. True Southern food and great
conversation make for a real "getaway" experience. They feature specials and
discounts for military and couples, as well as an outdoor pool. High end super
soft linens, oversized rooms and period antiques set the tone for an injcredible
stay. If you get a group together have them host a murder mystery stay for you,
or just take that special someone and getaway for the week end. Either way The
Old Buggy Inn will make you feel right at home.

Knollwood House Built in 1927 by a wealthy family from
Philadelphia on one of the newest Donald Ross courses of that time(Mid Pines),
The Knollwood
House has had many notable visitors over the years, as well as serving as the
home for the Commandant of Fort Bragg back in the day. In 1992, The Knollwood
House was converted from a private residence into a Bed and Breakfast. The
Knollwood House has been called the area's "most elegant B&B" by Golf Odyssey
magazine. The current Innkeepers acquired the property in 2007 after falling in
love with the area and it's dedication to their passions of equestrian events and
golf. Five Suites, all with private baths, high speed internet, expansive
grounds and unparalleled luxury make this a favorite among our Sandhills Bed and
Breakfasts.

Inn at The Bryant House
Originally built in 1900, The Inn at The Bryant
House has a long history of taking care of weary travelers. In 1913, Julia
Thagard Bryant decided to turn the home into a "tourist home" and called it "The
Lantana". At that time it was right on Hwy 1 and made the perfect mid way point
between Florida and New York. Over the years and through 2 or 3 owners, each has
added a few special touches and amenities to the property. The result is a
fantastic B&B with not only period design, great food, grounds and furnishings,
but many special events coordinated by the owners including social hour and
murder mystery events. Matt and Ashley have done a great job with The Lantana.
Word is that the Lantana is now for sale to some lucky buyer.
If you're looking for a life change you may want to take a look at it.
