Hello, have you seen the new Dr. Shoals foot insole TV ad where you stand on the platform, a colored picture shows up and then tells you "you have a flat foot"...much to the amazement of the customer...then they sigh relieved that the Dr Shoals insole is going to help them stand upright and be finally out of pain!!
What you are seeing is a pressure map system that you stand on.
EQUI-Mapping uses the same pressure mapping technology, same solution: orthodics for your horses back. Orthodics meaning we correct fit using a shimmed saddle pad, or we mail your rebuilder your scans. It takes about an hour and includes evaluating the horse, the tack, the riders' posture as well. Pressure mapping is conclusive and accurate in affirming what the eye and hands can tell, and it's done while the horse is in motion and standing!

Dr. Ridgway and I have worked extensively using both pressure mapping and thermography in the study of chronic pain and saddle fit. You don't necessarily need a new saddle, perhaps just some fitting.
