Aberdeen restaurants lean towards the lunch crowd or chain restaurant styles. Most Aberdeen NC restaurants are a little more casual, and some of the best authentic mexican restaurants are in Aberdeen, as well as some really good lunch, diner and breakfast spots. Most that live in Aberdeen that want to sit down for dinner and drinks will go to Southern Pines or Pinehurst.

Ironwood Cafe Our featured local restaurant with a HUGE following, this Southern Pines restaurant has everything from incredible hand cut steaks to fresh fish and delicious desserts. Great wine list and atmosphere. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Great for couples, business, golf groups or family time. You don't have to dress up to eat gourmet food. * Just a quick note here. La Poblanita is probably the best authentic mexican food in the area, much less the Aberdeen restaurants scene. Small shop with simple surroundings lets you focus on the food. Incredible food without the tomatoey sugar taste of many "American" mexican restaurants.* A great asset to the Aberdeen restaurants scene.
